About PA Poutine Week

PA Poutine Week

From March 14 to 23, 2025 diners in Prince Albert showed great support during PA Poutine Week 2025 for Big Brothers Big Sisters youth mentoring programs. In total 1428 poutines were sold across the city with $4 from each one sold helping to build life-changing mentoring relationships.

This year Venice House on Central dished out a Potato Skin Poutine that got the most love on social media by people sharing photos of the poutine, winning them the Poutine Choice Award and 10 passes to Galaxy Cinemas.

Katie Yannacoulias said Venice House staff “had lots of fun challenging themselves to sell, sell sell in support of the fundraising efforts for Big Brothers Big Sisters” and their efforts paid off as they sold 298 poutines, winning the Gravy Bowl Championship and 8 passes to Prince Albert Xscapes.

We want to thank Venice House for their hard work, but also want to acknowledge the contribution of every single restaurant who participated in making this event a success!

Original Joe’s came very close to winning the Gravy Bowl this year with 267 poutines sold and popular Lulu’s Kitchen sold 208 poutines.  The PAGCC Rock & Iron sold 156 poutines, Boston Pizza sold 130, MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual sold 123, Humpty’s Big Plate Diner sold 65, Between The Buns sold 98,  Ricky’s All Day Grill sold 36, Shananigan’s Bistro sold 32 and Prince Albert Brewing Co. sold 15 poutines in support of the cause.

In total $5712 was raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters during PA Poutine Week 2025!
