PRINCE ALBERT MOCKTAIL CHALLENGE

Join us for a refreshing twist on fundraising at the Prince Albert Mocktail Challenge! This is a fun and friendly competition where local guest bartenders step behind the bar to mix creative mocktails and collect donations for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Prince Albert Community Alcohol Strategy Steering Committee. We’re coming together to celebrate connection, creativity, and community well-being. and we invite you to be part of the fun.

DATE: Saturday November 15 2025

TIME: Doors open 5:00 PM. (1st bartending set starts at 5:30 PM)

LOCATION: Prince Albert Golf & Curling Centre, 900-22nd Street East (Lower Level -Thompson Room)

  • No Cover Charge- Entertainment by Maxwell Music
  • Big Bite Burger Buffet available 5PM to 8PM $20/person
  • Signature Mocktails: Two for $15

Each of our 6 bartenders aims to raise $3000 to $5000 and we invite you to donate to your favorite donation “tip jar” (powered by Canada Helps) to help make that happen. Be sure to come cheer everyone on at the live event and try their special refreshing mocktails!

With every sip, every cheer, and every dollar raised, we move closer to a future where young people are empowered, and communities thrive through healthy choices and meaningful relationships.

The Pink Flamingo

Evert Botha is the Communication Liaison for River Valley Resilience Retreat, where he helps foster awareness, connection, and community engagement for the organization’s mission of healing and resilience. In addition to this role, Evert is the founder and owner of BERML Jewelry for Men, a brand dedicated to creating unique, meaningful pieces that reflect strength and individuality. Drawing inspiration from both creative design and family legacy, Evert also works alongside his father, Mike Botha, Master Diamond Cutter, gaining firsthand experience in the artistry and precision of fine jewelry craftsmanship. Beyond his professional pursuits, Evert serves his community as a Marriage Commissioner and Notary Public, sharing his time to support and celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.

Blue Thunder

Dr. Visham Sukkhu is an active community advocate who supports healthy choices around alcohol use. He has been serving Prince Albert and area as a family physician for the last 25 years. He’s a loving husband to Sasha and a devoted father of two adult children. Visham enjoys playing squash, a good meal and watching movies.  When he’s not busy treating patients you will find him spending quality time with family and friends.

Brooke Wozniak is a REALTOR®, Real Estate Coach, and Team Lead of Heart and Home in Prince Albert. A mom of three and proud Raider billet mom, Brooke also serves on the Board of Directors for the Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce. A former dance teacher and lifelong lover of musical theatre, she now channels her passion for teaching into helping real estate agents confidently market themselves and grow values-driven businesses.

Tyrel Moe is the General Manager and Partner at Riverside Dodge, where he brings his passion for people and community into every aspect of his work. He loves meeting new faces and helping make the vehicle ownership experience as easy and stress-free as possible. A proud Prince Albert resident, Tyrel lives in the city with his wife, Alisha, and their three daughters. Family keeps him grounded and motivated, and he’s proud to call Prince Albert home. When invited to the Celebrity Bartender Mocktail Challenge, Tyrel jumped at the chance. For him, alcohol awareness isn’t just a cause — it’s an important part of building a safer, stronger, and healthier community for everyone. He’s excited to bring his competitive spirit to the event, while also enjoying the fun and laughs along the way.

Saskatchewan Sunset

Bill Powalinsky is a devoted husband to Charlotte and a proud father of three adult children. He is is a respected leader in public service with decades of experience in community development including nine years as CEO of the Community Service Centre, working in labour relations, and spearheading the Youth Futures project.  Deeply committed to community service, Bill has held leadership roles with S.H.A.R.E., Canadian Mental Health Association,  Association for Community Living, Riverbank Development, Prince Albert and Area Community Foundation, and the Prince Albert Chamber of Commerce. His lifelong advocacy, shaped by growing up alongside his twin sister with a profound intellectual disability, has earned him numerous awards, including the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal.  Now, he is proud to serve as your Mayor, dedicated to working alongside the community to build a stronger, more vibrant Prince Albert.

Mango Lime-o-nade

Robin Poliszuk is a Community Program Manager with the Northern Alcohol Strategy, a collaborative initiative, with a public health approach that emphasizes community development and empowerment. Robin has abstained from alcohol for almost 5 years, as a choice to benefit her health. She is a registered social worker and is currently in a Master’s program at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy. Robin was born in Estevan and moved to Prince Albert in 2019, she could not be happier about the move. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, hanging out with her two children, and going to concerts. She has two children, a son and a daughter, a cat, and a dog named Wasabi.
