Seven Prince Albert restaurants are participating in PA Poutine Week March 17th to 26th to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters while competing for the Gravy Bowl Championship and the Poutine Choice Award!
Defending Champion, The Knotty Pine Bistro, won both awards in 2022 and hopes to hang onto the trophies with this year’s entry Poutziki. Other restaurants with a special poutine added to their menu for the event are: Boston Pizza Memphis Chicken Poutine, Lulu’s Kitchen Crispy Pork Citrus Poutine, Original Joe’s Southwestern Poutine, Ricky’s All Day Grill The Loaded Poutine, The Rock & Iron Chicken and Waffle Poutine, Shananigan’s Bistro Coffee & Dessert Bar Three Cheese Curry Poutine.
The restaurant that sells the most poutine will become the Gravy Bowl Champion and the one with the most votes on social media will win the Poutine Choice Award. To cast a vote, restaurant goers can upload a photo of their poutine on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #PApoutineweek
During the 10 day event and $4 from each poutine sold will go towards youth mentoring programs in Prince Albert.
